By the end of this course, registrants will be able to:

• Apply advanced perceptual skills to the interpretation of screening mammograms.
• Describe key concepts in breast histopathology and differentiate updated terminology for in situ and invasive breast cancer.
• Analyze screening-detected abnormalities and select appropriate imaging modalities, including specialized mammographic views, ultrasound, and breast MRI.
• Perform stereotactic and ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy techniques for breast lesions.
• Evaluate the role of breast MRI in clinical practice, including screening of high-risk populations and the use of abbreviated MRI protocols.
• Interpret up to 300 tomosynthesis mammography cases with AI assistance at the workstation, consistent with MQSA accreditation requirements.
• Interpret up to 100 contrast-enhanced mammography cases at the workstation, in accordance with MQSA accreditation requirements.
• Interpret up to 100 breast MRI examinations at the workstation, in alignment with ACR breast MRI accreditation standards.
• Compare the diagnostic performance of multiple artificial intelligence systems using tomosynthesis case data at the workstation.
• Analyze the clinical applications of whole breast ultrasound and molecular breast imaging in supplemental breast cancer screening.
